Your most valued engagement remembrance will be your photos. When the photographer delivers the photos, you'll want to share them right away. You'll look back on them in 50 years and remember the feeling of seeing your loved one down on one knee, communicating their intention to marry you.

Who else to provide that keepsake but AJ Tolentino? AJ is a New York-based photographer who specializes in engagements and proposals. He's a ninja, third wheeler, creative thinker, and photographer all rolled into one. He used to intern for a wedding photographer until he realized it was not something he wanted to focus on. He got hired for a secret proposal/engagement, and it sparked his interest in shooting intimate moments.

When asked about his creative style, he explains his style has always been diverse. He doesn’t believe in sticking to a style. He believes his art is his service to the world. Expect a lot of collaboration when you work with him because he tweaks his style according to what the client needs. His work is influenced by the moment and the experience itself on whoever he is working with. It's always about the place, energy, and vibe!
While the photography industry may be crowded, AJ stands out because of his life experiences. He is motivated to excel and be the best. He has always been a people person. Before becoming a photographer, he used to work as a barista. He also worked in retail and management. AJ carries diverse life skills and experiences with him that you can easily connect to.
AJ's favorite Proposals of New York shoot was a proposal in Times Square. The proposal involved flash mobs, videographers, and dancers who made it extra fun. The question was popped into the screen for the whole of Times Square to see. Tourists and locals alike were celebrating with the couple. "I still remember that moment to this day!" AJ adds. Curious about AJ's favorite proposal experience? Check out this reel!
Since you're here for love, allow us to share AJ's favorite piece of love advice.
"Don’t chase love, attract ;)" Keep that in mind when you're in the apps sending another dry "hey."
